Well, some cool stuff has happened recently. Kinda distracted me from actually keeping this blog thing running the way I had envisioned in my mind.
Well, I finished all my dentist stuff, including having my wisdom teeth removed. Not a good idea. I now know what it truly means to have teeth pulled, and can actually understand that saying, "it's like pulling teeth." Basically, for me, it meant getting some needles stuck into my jaws, these ones hurt terribly, worse than past shots I have received, having my face numbed, and then sitting in a chair for two and a half hours while my teeth were pulled out.
My mission papers were submitted this past Sunday. My stake president told me that, if these go the way he's been observing with past calls, my mission call will be issued tomorrow, and I will receive it in the mail hopefully between next Wednesday-Saturday. Needless to say, the world seems to be turning a whole lot slower than it has been.
Today, as I have heard, is national kissing day. I would like to share with you a song: This Kiss, by Faith Hill. When I was a little boy, by little, I mean all my years under the age of ten, this song was my very favorite song. No matter where I was, when this song came on the radio, I would sing along. Apparently, this was pretty memorable. In Ely, Nevada, a place I moved away from about eight years ago, people still remember me singing it.
So, it's story time now. When I was a baby to oldish toddler, and probably still, I had a huge head. I don't mean that in the way that I was an prideful child, I mean it literally. My head did not fit my body in any way. My cousins enjoyed informing my mother of that fact. So, during my toddler years, my head would get stuck in the strangest places. For example, my head got stuck in the fork of a tree a couple times, and more times than I'd like to remember, I would get stuck under my bed because my head wouldn't fit coming out as well as I could get it in.
Once, when my family was visiting my grandparents, I was being a little kid, and climbing on a bench. Well, I slipped behind it. A normal child would have fallen behind, crawled out, and been fine. Me, on the other hand, got my head stuck between the wall, and the top of this bench. According to the stories I have been told, my legs were suspended a few inches from the ground. This was before I could speak well, so I simply yelled, "'Tuck! 'Tuck!!!" until someone heard and rescued me.
I like to think I have grown into my head now. It doesn't get stuck anymore, at least.
Well, that's all for now. Happy Kissing Day! Kiss your mom or something.

This made my day. I think I will skip the kissing seeing as I am not home. There is nobody here to kiss. But thanks for the "heads up". :-P ;-)
